Product Overview

The ULN2001 is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington array featuring three independent Darlington drive channels. Each channel can deliver up to 500mA collector output current and withstand voltages up to 50V. Integrated flyback diodes are included for driving inductive loads like relays and stepper motors. The input is compatible with TTL/CMOS logic signals, and each input port includes a 4k pull-down resistor to prevent erroneous load activation due to indeterminate microcontroller states. This device is widely applicable in relay driving, indicator driving, display driving (LED), stepper motor driving, and logic buffering.
