Product Description

The Sxx08x SCR series is designed for uni-directional switch applications. It is ideal for phase control, heating, motor speed controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. The series features a low gate current trigger level, with a sensitive version offering a gate trigger current less than 500A, making it easily triggered by sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors. These SCRs are halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, utilize glass-passivated junctions, and offer voltage capabilities up to 1000V with a surge capability of up to 100A at 60Hz half cycle. The L-Package is UL Recognized for 2500Vrms.
