Product Overview
The Sxx12x Series of 12 Amp Standard SCRs are designed for uni-directional switch applications. They offer a low gate current trigger level of 20 mA at approximately 1.5V and are ideal for phase control, heating, motor speed controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. These SCRs feature glass-passivated junctions and an electrically isolated "L-Package" that is UL recognized for 2500Vrms. They provide voltage capability up to 1000V and surge capability up to 120A.
