Product Description
The ULN2003 is a monolithic high voltage and high current Darlington transistor array. It features seven NPN Darlington pairs with high-voltage outputs and common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Each Darlington pair has a collector-current rating of 500mA, and pairs can be paralleled for higher current capability. The integrated 2.7k series base resistor allows direct operation with TTL or 5V CMOS devices. Applications include relay drivers, hammer drivers, lamp drivers, display drivers (LED, gas discharge), line drivers, and logic buffers.
