PolyZen Devices
PolyZen devices are polymer-enhanced, precision Zener diode micro-assemblies designed to offer resettable protection against multi-Watt fault events without the need for heat sinks. They provide stable Zener diode clamping for overvoltage and reverse bias protection, with a PPTC layer that trips to a high resistance state during overcurrent or extended diode heating, limiting current and increasing the diode's power handling capability. These devices are ideal for protecting sensitive portable electronics and low-power DC devices from voltage spikes, transients, incorrect power supplies, and reverse bias.
