The DT12T Standard Series TRIACs are 12A silicon bidirectional thyristors designed for general-purpose AC switch control. These TRIACs feature high commutation performance without the need for a snubber circuit and can be controlled by phase angle or on/off triggering. They are suitable for applications including motor, fan, and pump control, solenoid drivers, LED dimming, and inrush current limiting circuits. Key advantages include passivated die for reliability, three-quadrant triggering, high voltage ratings (over 800V VDRM/VRRM), and operation up to 125C.
