The International Rectifier's IRAMS06UP60B is an Integrated Power Module designed for electronic motor control in appliance applications. It is optimized for VF compressor drives in refrigerators and freezers, as well as electronic fan controls in heating and ventilation systems. This module offers a compact, high-performance AC motor-driver with an isolated package, simplifying design. It features an internal shunt for easy current feedback and overcurrent monitoring, a built-in temperature monitor, over-current protection, short-circuit rated IGBTs, and integrated under-voltage lockout for enhanced protection and fail-safe operation. The integration of bootstrap diodes and a single polarity power supply requirement further simplifies utilization and reduces costs.
