Glass passivated Littelfuse S4010LS2TP SCR designed for switching in motor control heating and power tool applications
Product Description
Excellent unidirectional switches for phase control and general switching applications such as heating, motor control controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. Sensitive gate SCRs are easily triggered with microAmps of current as furnished by sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors. Standard phase control SCRs are triggered with few milliamperes of current at less than 1.5V potential. Features include glass-passivated junctions, voltage capability up to 1000V, and surge capability up to 100A. Typical applications include capacitive discharge systems for motorcycle engine CDI, portable generator engine ignition, strobe lights, nailers, generic rectifiers, battery voltage regulators, converters, and controls for power tools, home/brown goods, and white goods appliances. Internally constructed isolated packages are offered for ease of heat sinking with highest isolation voltage.
