LGE BTA16/BTB16 Triacs

The LGE BTA16/BTB16 series are 16A triacs designed for bidirectional switching operations in 3rd and 4th quadrants. Featuring a five-layer NPNPN structure, single-sided trenching technology, mesa glass passivation, and multi-layer metallized electrodes, these devices offer high blocking voltage and excellent temperature stability. They are ideal for inductive load switching and ON/OFF functions in applications such as washing machines, induction motor starting circuits, vacuum cleaners, power tools, speed control, heating regulation, solid-state relays, and phase control circuits.
