Product Overview
The Littelfuse MCR72 series Thyristors are 8Amp Sensitive Gate SCRs designed for industrial and consumer applications. They feature center gate geometry for uniform current density, all-diffused and glass-passivated junctions for parameter uniformity and stability, and a small, rugged Thermowatt construction for low thermal resistance and high heat dissipation. With low trigger currents of 200 A maximum, they are suitable for direct driving from integrated circuits. Applications include temperature, light, and speed control; process and remote controls; warning systems; capacitive discharge circuits; and MPU interfaces.
