Product Overview
The MCR8SDG, MCR8SMG, and MCR8SNG are sensitive gate silicon controlled rectifiers designed for half-wave AC control applications. Their sensitive gate allows triggering by microcontrollers and other logic circuits. These devices offer blocking voltages up to 800V, an on-state current rating of 8A RMS, and high surge current capability. Featuring glass-passivated junctions for reliability, they are housed in a rugged, economical TO-220AB package. Ideal for motor controls, heating controls, and power supplies where half-wave silicon gate-controlled devices are required.
