The S8MC is a surface mount glass passivated rectifier designed for high-frequency rectifier circuits. It offers fast switching for high efficiency and features a cavity-free glass passivated junction with high-temperature metallurgically bonded construction. This device is capable of meeting environmental standards of MIL-S-19500, with a plastic package that has an Underwriters Laboratory Flammability Classification 94V-0. It is suitable for applications requiring typical reverse current less than 1.0A and guarantees high-temperature soldering at 260C for 10 seconds.
