Durable Littelfuse K2201GL voltage switch for robust operation in metal halide lamp ignition circuits
Product Description
The Multipulse SIDAC is a voltage switch designed for Metal-Halide and High Pressure Sodium lamp ignition circuits in outdoor street and area lighting. It is a robust solid-state switch capable of operating at ambient temperatures up to 90C, with junction temperatures reaching 125C, particularly when a lamp element is removed or ruptured. Its excellent commutation time (tCOMM) makes it suitable for generating multiple pulses per half cycle of 50/60 Hz line voltage. The Kxxx1GL SIDAC series offers repetitive off-state blocking voltages from 180V to 270V, ensured by glass-passivated junctions for reliability. It is available in a DO-15 axial leaded package with tin-plated copper alloy leads.
