Designed for high-efficiency applications, it features a metal silicon junction with majority carrier conduction and a guard ring for overvoltage protection. Its low power loss and high efficiency make it ideal for use in low voltage, high frequency inverters, free wheeling, polarity protection, and switch power supplies.
