They offer high forward surge current capability, low power loss, and high efficiency due to their metal-silicon junction and majority carrier conduction. These rectifiers meet MSL level 1 per J-STD-020 and are suitable for use in low voltage high frequency inverters, free wheeling, DC/DC converters, and polarity protection.
