The 1N5817 thru 1N5819 series are Schottky barrier rectifiers designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. They feature a metal silicon junction with majority carrier conduction and a guardring for overvoltage protection, resulting in low power loss and high efficiency. These rectifiers offer high current capability and a low forward voltage drop, making them suitable for inverters, free wheeling circuits, and polarity protection. They are constructed with JEDEC DO-41 molded plastic bodies and plated axial leads, solderable per MIL-STD-750. The series offers reverse voltage ratings from 20 to 40 Volts and a forward current of 1.0 Ampere.
