Product Overview
The ULN2003V12 and ULN2003F12 are multi-channel sink drivers featuring 7-channel and 4-channel output stages respectively. The ULN2003V12 offers a low power upgrade to the ULN2003A family, dissipating significantly less power when driving typical 12V relay coils. The ULN2003F12 is a lower power variant suitable for applications requiring fewer channels, such as low voltage stepping motors. Both devices support 3.3V to 5V CMOS logic input, are compatible with various micro-controllers, and feature an improved input interface that minimizes DC current draw. Integrated RC snubbers enhance performance in noisy environments, and internal pull-down resistors allow for tri-stating input logic. Each output includes an internal free-wheeling diode for inductive load protection. Adjacent channels can be combined in parallel to increase current sink capability, with the ULN2003V12 supporting up to 1.0A with all 7 channels paralleled.
