Product Overview

The DT16T Standard TRIACs are high commutation performance silicon bidirectional thyristors designed for general-purpose AC switch control. These TRIACs are suitable for third-quadrant applications and can be controlled by phase angle or on/off triggering. They feature a passivated die for reliability, operate at temperatures up to 125C, and are designed without the need for a snubber circuit. The products are compliant with RoHS II 2015/863/EU and use a Green molding compound with UL flammability classification 94V-0. Applications include control of motor, fan, pump loads, solenoid drivers, LED dimming, and inrush current limiting circuits.
