Product Overview
The ULN2003 is a monolithic high voltage, high current Darlington transistor array integrated circuit. It consists of seven pairs of NPN Darlington tubes. Its high voltage output characteristics and cathode clamp diodes can convert inductive loads. The collector current of a single Darlington tube is 500mA. Darlington tubes can be paralleled to withstand larger currents. Each Darlington tube in the ULN2003 has a series base resistor, allowing direct connection with TTL/CMOS circuits below 5V operating voltage, directly processing data that previously required standard logic buffers.
