The ULN2003A is a monolithic integrated high-voltage, high-current Darlington array featuring seven independent Darlington driver channels. Each channel includes a free-wheeling diode for inductive load driving, making it suitable for applications like relays and stepper motors. With a single Darlington's collector capable of outputting 500mA, parallel connections can achieve higher current capabilities. The integrated 2.7K base resistor allows direct connection with TTL/CMOS logic circuits at a 5V operating voltage, simplifying signal buffering.
