Product Description
The ULN2802 is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington array. It consists of eight independent Darlington driver circuits. Each circuit includes a free-wheeling diode, making it suitable for driving inductive loads such as relays, stepper motors, and display drivers (LEDs). Each Darlington pair can output 500mA, and paralleling them allows for higher output current capability. The ULN2802 is widely used in relay driving, lighting control, display driving, stepper motor driving, and as logic buffers. Each Darlington driver has a 2.7K base resistor, allowing direct connection to TTL/CMOS circuits at a 5V operating voltage, simplifying the handling of data that previously required standard logic buffers.
