HiPerFRED Fast Recovery Diode, Common Cathode

Product Overview

The DPG30C400HB is a high-performance fast recovery diode from IXYS, featuring low loss and soft recovery characteristics. Designed with planar passivated chips, it offers very low leakage current and a very short recovery time, contributing to improved thermal behavior and very low Irm-values. Its soft reverse recovery behavior minimizes EMI/RFI, while low Irm values reduce power dissipation and turn-on losses in commutating switches. This diode is ideal as an antiparallel diode for high frequency switching devices, an antisaturation diode, a snubber diode, or a freewheeling diode. It is also suitable for rectifiers in switch mode power supplies (SMPS) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
