Product Overview

The IXYS DSEK 60-02A/AR is a Common Cathode Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diode (FRED) designed for high-reliability circuit operation. It features international standard JEDEC TO-247 AD package, planar passivated chips, very short recovery time, extremely low switching losses, and low IRM-values with soft recovery behavior. The epoxy meets UL 94V-0 flammability classification. The Version AR is isolated and UL registered. This diode is ideal for applications in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), ultrasonic cleaners, and welders, offering advantages such as low voltage peaks for reduced protection circuits, low noise switching, low losses, and the ability to operate at lower temperatures or save space by reducing cooling requirements.
