The Teccor brand Standard Bidirectional SIDACs (Kxxxzy) are silicon bilateral voltage-triggered switches designed for high-voltage applications. They switch on when the applied voltage exceeds the breakover voltage, entering a negative resistance region to a low on-state voltage. Conduction persists until the current is interrupted or falls below the minimum holding current. Featuring glass-passivated junctions for ruggedness and reliability, these SIDACs are suitable for harsh environments.
