RK16xx Series 16A TRIACs
The RK16xx Series 16A TRIACs, including RK16xxA and RK16xxB models, are designed for general-purpose AC switching. They feature high current density due to double mesa technology, SIPOS, and Glass Passivation. These triacs are suitable for ON/OFF functions in applications like static relays, heating regulation, and induction motor starting circuits, or for phase control operations such as light dimmers and motor speed controllers. The RK16xxA/B-SW, -CW, and -BW variants are 3-quadrant triacs, specially recommended for use with inductive loads. All models offer an isolated internal RMS isolation voltage of 2500V from all three terminals to the external heat sink.
