They feature a metal silicon junction for majority carrier conduction, resulting in low power loss and high efficiency. These diodes offer high forward surge current capability and are suitable for applications requiring reliable performance at elevated temperatures, with guaranteed high temperature soldering up to 250 C for 10 seconds.
