Product Overview

The DSEI 60-10A is a Fast Recovery Epitaxial Diode (FRED) designed for high-frequency switching applications. It features an international standard TO-247 AD package with planar passivated chips, offering very short recovery times and extremely low switching losses. Its low IRM-values and soft recovery behavior make it suitable for use as an antiparallel diode for high-frequency switching devices, anti-saturation diode, snubber diode, and free-wheeling diode in converters and motor control circuits. It also serves as a rectifier in switch mode power supplies (SMPS), inductive heating and melting applications, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and ultrasonic cleaners and welders. The advantages include high reliability circuit operation, low voltage peaks for reduced protection circuits, low noise switching, low losses, and the ability to operate at lower temperatures or save space through reduced cooling.
