Product Overview
The Schottky POWERMITE employs Schottky Barrier principle with barrier metal and epitaxial construction for an optimal forward voltage drop-reverse current tradeoff. Its advanced packaging offers a highly efficient, micro miniature, space-saving surface mount rectifier. With a unique heatsink design, it provides the same thermal performance as SMA but is 50% smaller in footprint and has one of the lowest height profiles (< 1.1 mm) in the industry. Ideal for portable and battery-powered products, its applications include AC-DC and DC-DC converters, reverse battery protection, and "ORing" of multiple supply voltages where performance and size are critical.
